Действительно, попытка выделить кусок сообщения в основном окне для
копирования срабатывает не всегда. Если это происходит, можно открыть
сообщение в отдельном окошке (двойным щелчком по строке в списке) и
попробовать скопировать оттуда - обычно это срабатывает. Причем после
этого копирование начинает работать и из основного окна (на некоторое
время).
Специальной обработки копирования текста из сообщения в Sylpheed нет - все
выполняется объектом GtkText из библиотеки GTK+, так что, похоже, проблема
там. К сожалению, пока что найти концы не удалось. :-(
