такая проблема: есть мать на чипсете via,
которая не держит dma. винт начинает работать
нормально только, если dma отключить совсем.
были опробованы все возможные варианты сборки
ядра, относящиеся к данной проблеме.
поможет ли установка ide контроллера?
кто-нибудь имел дело с iwill side-raid на чипсете hpt368?
поддерживается ли ядром эта железка?

Поможет загрузка ядра с параметром ide=nodma

Железка поддерживается, про работоспособность не знаю.
