Есть проблема с апачем из стандартной поставки "весны". При ротации логов (раз в неделю) на выполнении команды postrotate происходит затык, сервер не поднимается.
/var/log/httpd/*log {
missingok
notifempty
postrotate
apachectl reload >/dev/null
endscript
}
Из лога:
Sep 9 04:02:03 Kovalkov apachectl: httpd -USR1 succeeded
Sep 9 04:02:03 Kovalkov apachectl: httpd shutdown failed

заменить reload на restart
