Константин, позвольте вопрос - дело в том, что (не знаю, как в 2.4.9) в ядре
2.4.8 вашей сборки (kernel24-up-2.4.8-alt1.i586.rpm) есть (не знаю, баг или
фича) такая штука - там для самбы выставлен default nls = 866. В результате
невозможен просмотр русского..... если это фича, подскажите пожалйста, как
мне смотреть русские каталоги на удаленной машине через самбу? (у меня пока
2.0.7 - потому как работает и обновляться на новую не тянет - лучше уж пусть
эта работает :))))). Да, каталоги монтируются через fstab при запуске системы.
И попутно вопрос: при смонтированном smb-каталоге существует некий timeout,
после чего при входе в каталог на консоль вызодят ругательства вида
smb_retry: success и тому подобные. Не подскажете, как от них избавиться? Это
в syslog.conf надо крутить или где? Просто вдруг задумался - в Junior такого
нету, значит и в Mandrake RE (уже почти полностью Sisyphus) можно убрать....
