В том-то и дело что текст - нормальный latin1 :( А его почему-то в type
3 загоняют

И openjade, и jadetex и куча всего поставлена, видимо все дело в
шаблоне...Видимо, я не совсем корректно выразился: текст-то конвертится
в разные форматы, но русского там нет :( А lyx'овский пример на русском
этим не страдает
