С этим, пожалуй, все согласятся.

Лично я не замечаю недостатка настраиваемости в mutt.
Впрочем, некоторые мысли по расширению настраиваемости у меня появились,
попробую их реализовать.

Да из этого самого glibc-2.2.4-alt2.src.rpm; а для какой архитектуры Вам
нужны эти исходники. В glibc ведь, как известно, поддерживается много
архитектур в части (тем более что речь идет об интерфейсе к системным
вызовам).
Впрочем, это можно вынести за пределы обсуждения в списке рассылки.
