man 5 crontab вам поможет.
Если пользуетесь KDE, то имеет смысл взглянуть на /usr/bin/kcron, который
живет в пакете kdeadmin. Список заданий для пользователя смотрится по
команде crontab -e
P.S. Маленький примерчик от вашего покорного слуги (строчка из юзерского
кроновского файла):
0 8 * * 5 echo 'Now time to backup repository!' | mail -s 'TASK:
repository' abr
Каждую пятницу (прямо как 57 минут назад) приходит письмо, которая
Сильфида ловит, фильтрует и складывает в спецпапочку. "Результат налицо"
