Стратегия backup должна удовлетворять двум условиям: регулярность
и полнота. Программа dump как раз это и решает. Сам способ такой:
сначала сохраняем всю файловую систему, потом периодически
сохраняем только файлы, изменившиеся с последнего раза. Через
некоторое время делаем опять полный backup файловой системы. Эта
стратегия экономит место и время. Программа dump все делает
автоматически. Вот только не знаю, умеет ли она работать с
ReiserFS.
