Пока оно достучится до удалённого сервера...
Пока передаст...
И только когда письмо полностью ушло - Ok.
Другое дело - если соединения нет...
В этом случае оно болтается в очереди, при поднятии жи
ppp0 - проистекает форсирование отправки очереди.
(команда sendmail -q)
