В том-то и дело. А Вы представьте, что на Вашей тачке постоянно
поддерживаемое зеркало Сизифа. Набираете строку
apt-get -S dist-upgrade | more
и _медленно_ выбираете "пакет", который хотите поставить ручками.
Потом набираете
apt-get install "пакет"
Полный контроль. Поди, плохо? Apt-get поговорит с Вами и
подскажет, надо бы ещё и зависимые пакеты поставить. Отвечать
надо "да" или "нет". При этом быстро убеждаешься, что нет нужды
стараться быть хитрее паровоза. Убедительно?
