Вот порадобилось Вам, скажем, Ваш HDD переразбить с последующей
переустановкой Линукса -- на дискетку слили настройки, после
установки -- слили обратно и всё OK. Или Вы на дискетку с VFAT
это делать будете? ;-)
А supermount выбросьте нафиг, дрянь это -- напишите в fstab
по-человечески:
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto user,noauto,noexec 0 0
и все дела.
