Несколько вопросов про монтирование дискет и cdrom.

В Junior 1.0 у меня не работает смена сменных носителей. :) То есть если
вставил один раз диск, послушал его, вынул, то другой диск уже никак
монтироваться не хочет, ни автоматически, ни вручную (su mount/umount).
Пишет: I/O error, и помогает только перезагрузка.
В инструкции на CD прочитал, что supermount в ядре 2.4.5 работает
нестабильно и нужно использовать autofs. Каким образом можно переключиться
с supermount на autofs?
Почему supermount предлагается вообще выбросить, что в нём нечеловеческого?
