А не под root-ом ли сидите?
Если под root-ом, то так и должно быть....э
Авторам:
Возможно, стОит как-то придумать механизм увода
новоиспечённых пользователей из под root-а...
Например - большое красное окно, с картинкой в виде
PNG, с предупреждением, что РУССКИХ БУКВ root-у НЕ
ВИДАТЬ!!!!, а как отключить - в инструкцию в сторонку.
