Здравствуйте,
Срочно нужно поднять ftp-сервер. Поставил ftpd-BSD 0.3.3,
поправил /etc/xinetd.d/ftp, неанонимный доступ поднялся.
При попытке анонимного входа:
$ ftp alpha.home
Connected to alpha.home.
220 alpha.home FTP server (Version 6.5/OpenBSD, linux port 0.3.3) ready.
Name (alpha.home:lenya): anonymous
331 Guest login ok, type your name as password.
Password:
550 Can't set guest privileges.
Login failed.
ftp>
Что (и где) нужно поправить? И еще - где должно располагаться
дерево каталогов для анонимного ftp? (Структура дерева и права
расписаны в man 8 ftpd)

Поставьте пакет anonftp.
