Да, нужно будет обновить некоторые пакеты, типа
mkinitrd, procps, initscripts. Насчет ipchains - в 2.4 есть
поддержка ipchains, нужно только загрузить ipchains.o и
можно будет пользоваться старыми правилами. Для пере-
езда на iptables очень рекомендую пакет gShield, где брал
не помню, поищите на Google.
Вместо супермаунта есть autofs, принцип работы другой,
но работает. Руководство по настройке пробегало здесь
неделю назад. Ну и в модули многое переехало, у меня,
например при переезде на 2.4.7 отрубились com-ports,
оказывается они теперь модулем, а он автоматом не загрузился.
Еще эмуляция scsi теперь в модулях, если у Вас есть cd-rw,
будут траблы, почти гарантированно. Рецепт опять же
был в рассылке.
