Дело в том, что лежат они в дистрибутиве...
И 3c59x - тот самый. Дома он у меня окучивает 3c905b,
на работе - 3c905c...
На всяк. пожарный в дистрибутив входят и альтернативные
драйверы:
Звать - 3c90x (см /lib/modules)
Вероятная проблема - не работа железки, а косые
настройки сети или блокировка всей сетки брандмауэром.
Мож у вас вообще, сервис fwctl взведён :)
Кстати, что говорит ifconfig?
Какое сообщение на 12-ой консоли по ifdown eth0 и ifup
eth0?
99%% - с железкой и драйвером железки всё Ok.
