А вот что на моей многострадальной MDK 7.0 RE -> Sisyphus системе:
$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-alt-linux/2.96/specs
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (%distribution, build 2.96-ipl13mdk)
$ rpm -q gcc
gcc-2.96-ipl13mdk
Собрано самостоятельно из сизифового SRPM'а.
