А что Вы можете сказать о пакете Scigraphica? (см.
http://scigraphica.sourceforge.net/) Интересно было бы услышать о нем
подробнее, прежде, чем ставить.

SciGraphica я скачивал, ставил. Поработать не удалось, она
зависала, а времени разбираться сейчас нет. Может быть позже. По
работе мне не часто приходится рисовать графики, Mathematica
вполне устраивает.
