Чтобы монтировались cd-rw, нужен модуль sr_mod.

В архивах, с левой темой, как и в этом письме, чтобы потом никто не нашел.

Если речь о записи CD, у меня в /etc/modules.conf

alias scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi
alias scd0 sr_mod
#options ide-cd ignore hdc

Возможно, options придется раскомментарить, у меня и так работает.
Есть ссылка /dev/cdrom2 на /dev/scd0, в /etc/fstab:

/dev/cdrom2 /mnt/cdrom2 auto user,noauto,nosuid,exec,nodev,ro,user,iocharset=koi8-r 0 0
