В догонку. Сейчас еще одну машинку прегрузил с "дыркой".
Глядите-ка что получается:
$ cat /proc/meminfo
total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
Mem: 14893056 14594048 299008 9482240 1052672 4956160
Т.е. явно меньше 16 метров, но!
Теперь глядите сюда:
$ dmesg

Вот они ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ куда делись!
Всего видно 16384к, т.е. ровно 16 метров!
Так что все же бывает и ровно 16 метров!
