После установки Win9x нельзя загрузить больше ничего,
кроме свежепоставленной винды.
А знаете, почему? Потому что его разработчитки не считают себя
принадлежащими к последователям Столмена (c) Sergey Sokolov.
Стоит ли притягивать за уши то, что не имеет к проблеме
никакого отношения? При чём тут RMS??!! И Вы что, никогда
не видели ...гм... ну скажем так -- не очень хорошо
работающих win-программ? Не говоря уж про саму винду -- я вот,
например, в компах отнюдь не чайник, винду юзаю вельми
аккуратно, железо у меня отменного качества, но после ~1 года
всевозможные неустраняемые глюки проявляться начинают -- и тогда
её надо переустанавливать (или мириться с этими глюками).
А по поводу SC -- не нравится он мне. Переименование
системных файлов -- какое убожество...
eXtended OS Loader работает совсем по другой идеологии, грузит
спокойно всё, что у меня поставлено на двух винтах, уживается
с любым другим бут-менеджером и распространяется под GPL
(т.е. его автор принадлежит к последователям Столмена).
