GigaByte GA-60X i815EP - периодически тоже "не друзья не братья" на
драйверах 1251. Иногда/изредка при большой нагрузке имеем окошко
на верхнюю половину экрана и в ней смазанные точки/символы,
похожие на глюк, видимый иногда при слишком завышенной частоте.
Переключение на текстовые консоли эффекта не дает, глюк остается,
хотя содержимое явно меняется. Если вспомнить, какая из консолей
открытая и набрать reboot - все нормально перезагружается и
работает. Убивание иксов не помогает. Записей в логах на эту тему
не ощутил, правда, особо не искал - торопился.
До этого были проблемы с этой же карточкой (GeForge2 GTS 32 Mb)
на 440BX.
Так что карточки/поддержка nvidia сами по себе не очень. А
подозрение на VIA падает в свете последних проблем.
В общем, ничего конкретного/обоснованного/объясненных причин
того, что nvidia + VIA плохо, я пока не встречал.
