С S3 что-то намутили в X 4.1.0...
Но проблем с ними... Разные глюки железки и разные
способы workaround в зависимости от ревизии чипа.

А, это уже традиция. Во всём виновата VIA, пока не
заменим неисправное устройство или что-нибудь такое же
в этом духе.
