Статистики нет, но представьте себе, что некая программа вместо username
будет использовать uid или наоборот.

useradd sevenup
ln -s 7up ~sevenup/../7up
vipw (клонировать sevenup с заменой homedir)
vigr (клонировать sevenup)
Но лучше выбрать username, начинающийся с буквы.
