У меня было такое же с HPT-370
смог запустить в single mode
после чего удалил ide2=autotune ide3=autotune из lilo.conf
ну и lilo, естесссно

Я в свое время прочитав сей документ, по аналогии поставил
на HPT-370 на RAID-0 массив.
