Здравствуйте!
Подскажите сабж, пожалуйста. Про параметр -Y я знаю. Вопрос в
том, откуда берутся настройки прокси. Во всяком случае, у меня
стоит локальный squid, так вот с ним сам по себе wget работать не
хочет.

У меня squid стоит на другой машине, в ~/.wgetrc прописано
use_proxy = on
http_proxy = http://193.125.167.98:8080/
ftp_proxy = http://193.125.167.98:8080/
(193.125.167.98 - ip той машины)
Кроме того можно установить переменные окружения
http_proxy и ftp_proxy на манер apt-get, тогда wget
будет использовать прокси автоматически
(так в man-e сказано, сам не пробовал).
Образец wgetrc можно найти в /etc.
