Посмотрите, что в /etc/hosts.allow и /etc/hosts.deny
Проверьте строки only_from в конфигурации xinetd. Если что-нибудь
поменяете, не забудьте перезапустить xinetd
/sbin/service xinetd reload
или
/sbin/service xinetd restart
для верности :)
