Попробуйте испытать совет Константина Волкова - разработчика
нужных Вам пакетов. Возьмите из Сизифа drakxtools-1.1.5-ipl49mdk.
В этом случае XFdrake --expert предложит по умолчанию установить
XFree 4.x.x. Их тоже нужно взять из Сизифа 4.1.0-alt4. Проверено,
карточка S3 у меня запустилась только после этих обновлений.
И тут же пришлось отключить AA.
