А вот у меня это еще не является устойчивым мнением. И аргументов здесь два:
1. Существует рекомендация при переходе на 2.4 ядро переформатировать
reiserfs раздел.
2. На высоконагруженных mailserver'ах наблюдаются сбои на файловой системе.
Проблема пока не локализована
Для машины, которая почти ничего не делает с диском - соглашусь.
