Пришлите мне вывод /proc/ide/amd (файл должен называться как-то так), а
также Ваш dmesg. Попробуем разобраться.

Это теперь так работает новая реализация VM. В
linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org недавно была дискуссия по этому поводу и
народ пришел к выводу, что так получается быстрее и лучше.
