Дело в том, что у меня он не виснет. И не вис ни в Spring, ни с XFree86 из
Daedalus, ни сейчас с 4.1.0
Если Вы используете ядро 2.4.х - думаю, на самом деле проблема в
настройках или в железе. Касательно настроек для i815 - мне не удалось
заставить работать ни одну карточку с этим чипсетом в AGP 4x. Также были
проблемы в AGP 1x, а вот в 2x - все работало.
