Вы совершенно правы увеличение /tmp до 100Mb решило проблему
Мне кажется это надо упомянуть в руководстве или проверять при
установке (последнее наверно лучше). И кстати, луше сразу запретить
делать на reiserfs разделы меньше 36Mb, сейчас об этом становиться
известно уже когда раздел создан.

я в курсе. Для моей машины этого вполне достаточно
логи у меня долго не храняться а mc я не использую (привычка c OpenBSD).
А как насчет разбиения диска в текстовом варианте установки ?
