Уважаемые синьоры, осмеливаюсь задать вопрос второй раз, об установке
midgard с дистрибутива Mandrake RE Spring 2001. В прошлый раз я
предполагал ошибки в настройках Apache, сейчас же вижу, - дело не в
этом. Как показало покомпонентное изучение результатов установки и
прочего, после всех предложенных в инструкциях процедур, последняя из
которых, - запуск скриптов midgard-db-install.sh (и dbinstall.sh), в
хозяйстве есть:
- база данных midgard со всеми таблицами и каталогами;
- таблицы этой базы (hosts, articles и подобные, с "модельными"
данными и параметрами сайта "asgard") пустые.
Последующее копание в скрипте dbinstall.sh показало, что:
- выбор диалога "oldadminsite" и "asgardsite" волшебным образом
обходится (т.е., где-то сидит информация о ранее "успешно прошедших"
инсталляциях?);
- даже если отредактировать скрипт и прямо направить выполнение на
эту ветку ("asgardsite"), экспорт xml-данных не проходит. Вот
фрагмент отладочной выдачи:

Излишне говорить, что пакет expat-... в системе установлен, а файл
*.xml.gz лежит там, где полагается. Файл не битый, вручную
разворачивается.
Может, у кого-то есть идеи?
