Если уж очень охота перекомпилировать через make
(зачем???), то надо как минимум, указать в нём kgcc
вместо gcc.
А лучше - воспользоваться kernel<vers>.src.rpm и
собрать его используя rpm (rpm -ba kernel<vers>.spec)
