Полностью согласен. Тем более, что "стандартные" варианты установки
приводят к черезмерно избыточному (IMHO) составу пакетов.
Ну не нужны мне целая куча редакторов, несколько ftp-серверов, всем
скопом офисные пакеты и несколько оконных менеджеров впридачу и т.д.
Особенно интересным, мне кажется такое свойство программы установки -
например, при выборе груп пакетов я отменяю установку gnome, других
оконных менеджеров и баз данных, после установки я получаю и gnome
со всеми его прибамбасами и MySQL и Postgresql и WindowMaker внагрузку.
И вообще очень много того, чем я не пользуюсь.
