Господа!
Хочу написать о своей победе над картой SiS 6326 (8mb) в Mandrake-russian Spring 2001
и 4-х Иксах. Может кому пригодится. На сколько я понял масса людей испытывают мелкие
проблемки с работой карты в последнем Мандрайке. В моем случае дело осложнялось тем,
что у меня интегрированная i810 мамка и иксы упорно не хотели нормально жить на SiS-е.
В конце концов методом научного тыка удалось добиться того, что сейчас все замечательно
и без глюков работает. По совету я отключил в загрузке harddrake,
и оставил кудзу поставил в файле /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 размер памяти в 4 мб (а потом
все-таки все свои 8) и установил разрешение 16бит/1280*1024 (монитор ViewSonic E71).
Теперь все работает отлично. Пытался специально повесить иксы, пока не получилось ;)
