В Spring это есть.
В некоторых случаях (login через 5-й runlevel) это не отрабатывает из-за
ошибки в одном из скриптов пакета xinitrc. Обновление можно взять из
updates.

Компиляторов egcs нет. Есть два GCC-компилятора:
gcc-3.0pre (под именем gcc-2.96) и gcc-2.95.3; для всех мыслимых задач их
вполне достаточно. Если Вам нужен какой-то другой компилятор, значит, Вы
эксперт в этой области, и Вам не требуются инструкции о том, как это
делать.
