Увы, не дефектный :( У меня это наблюдалось на двух подряд
свежекупленных дисках. Первый мне даже удалось задвинуть обратно в
сервис-центре, поскольку их тестовая утилита тоже увидела сбойные сектора.
Лечится низкоуровневым zero-fill'ом с помощью утилит производителя.
