Основное приимущество ReiserFS это то, что она журналируемая! Это значит,
что спонтанная перезагрузка не приведет к ошибке в данных на диске.
Еще ReiserFS в разы быстрее, чем ext2.
Чтобы перевести все разделы на ReiserFS нужно иметь ядро со встроенной в
него поддержкой ReiserFS и загрузочную дискету с ним и несколькими
утилитами, типа vi, tar, mount, chroot и т.п. Дальше все просто,
сохраняете данные с разделов куда-нибудь, грузитесь в single моде,
переформатируете разделы, восстанавливаете данные, правите /etc/fstab.
Потом сохраняете данные из /, грузитесь с дискеты, пеформатируете /,
восстанавливаете данные, правите /etc/fstab, восстанавливаете загрузчик.
