Извиняюсь за повторную рассылку, но никто не ответил... Может не
прочитали?
Уважаемые гуру!
Достало меня зависание одного интерфейса на сервере.
Система: MDK RE 7.0
Адаптер: Compex RL100A
Симптомы: сегмент из десяти Win клиентов подключен к серверному интерфейсу
eth2. ВСЕ карточки одинаковые Compex RL100A. В некоторый момент обмен
между клиентами и Самбой накрывается одним местом. Смотрю информацию по
интерфейсам:

Глухо 8-((...
Лечится либо опусканием/поднятием интерфейса (возможно неоднократным),
либо (для очистки статистики) rmmod rl100a с последующим
insmod. Невозможно отлучиться... IP раздаются dhcpd. Может, в его
настройках проблемы? Как вообще изолировать (выцепить) проблему? Кто
виноват: кривые руки, одна из карточек или концентратор, который тоже
Compex?
Направляю вывод klogd сразу после того, как перестают ходить
пакеты на интерфейсе eth2.

Насчет отлучиться, может, по cron'у его опускать/поднимать через какой-то
период?

Последовательно заменить все ниже перечисленное и зафиксировать разницу в
симптомах. Кроме рук, конечно :) Кстати, кабели для чистоты эксперимента
лучше тоже поменять

У меня были проблемы с карточкой SURECOM по части драйвера. А именно: команда
ping -f -l 1000000 <кто-то>
вешала интерфейс намертво вместе с системой. Проверь, как у тебя пройдет
похожая команда, так как, на МОЙ первый взгляд, идет большой трафик и драйвер
переполняет свою память, после чего - один бог знает...
