Хм... странно конечно, но сегодня все нормально заработало. Наверно глюки из-зи пятен на Солнце, или
из-зи Луны...
Хотя вчера ставил и язык в russian и кодировку в koi8-r.
Но там или иначе, все спасибо:)))
