Да, ftp.altlinux.ru работает только в passive mode, о чем и говорит при
установке соединения. Все нормальные ftp-клиенты умеют работать в passive
mode, passive ftp connection не требует ухищрений при настройке firewall и
masquerade. Кроме того, серверная реализация passive-only ftp гораздо
надежнее. Так что ftp-сервер ftp.altlinux.ru меня пока что устраивает по
всем параметрам.
