Попробуйте отключить сервис harddrake (оставьте kudzu).
Драйвер для SiS именно на 6326 работает не очень здорово. Я
использую XFree-4 с 16bpp. Бывают глюки, но падений не
наблюдал. В XF86Config-4 надо явно указать память, причем
4096, даже если на самом деле 8M. Но вообще-то думаю, что
i810 будет лучше.
