С этим контроллером и у меня нет никаких проблем на домашней машине.
Spring 2001 встал легко. Причём у меня два scsi-диска. Один из них очень
старомодный, подсоединяется широким шлейфом. Так именно на этом диске
расположен корневой раздел. /boot, /usr и swap на более быстром диске.
А вот BIOS на котроллере у меня установлен довольно новый (версия 2.57 -
это по памяти).
