Я пробовал OpenOffice с разными форматами и, как ни странно, лучше всего у
него получалось читать/сохранять в MSWord97/2000. Созданные в Windows
документ легко читались, изменялись, сохранялись и потом в Винде опять
нормально читались. Созданные с нуля самим OO тоже нормально читались под
Виндой, за исключением формул.
