Subject: [mdk-re] немного ляпов в Spring2k1

Поставил таки на работе Spring 2001, и пока сегодня с ним ковырялся обнаружил
следующее:
1. Самый значительный ляп из обнаруженных - отсутствие в меню WindowMaker всех
пунктов управляющих самим WindowMakerом, в том числе и exit. Так что выходил я
из него сегодня по Ctrl-Alt-BackSpace. Ошибка по видимому в
/etc/menu-methods/WindowMaker, но с системой menu в целом я еще не до конца
разобрался, поэтому гарантировать не могу.
2. Все файлы WindowMaker расположены в /usr/X11R6/share/WindowMaker и только
меню создается в /usr/share/WindowMaker.
3. Все manы, которые я посмотрел упорно посылают за дополнительной информацией в
/usr/doc вместо /usr/share/doc.
4. Некоторые файлы в /etc/sysconfig исполняемые (например i18n, clock), а
некоторые - нет (kudzu, soundcard).
Теперь об инсталляции. Первое впечатление - красиво.
Второе впечатление:
1. Подсказка на экране с лицензией в транслите.
2. На этапе тестирования настроек X глухо повисло. Видеокарта ATI Mach64
(SuperProbe говорит про 264GT, но точно не помню)
3. Очень понравился тип мыши - "никакая" :)
Теперь о хорошем:
1. rocksndiamonds - RULEZ. :)
2. xpenguins - DOUBLE RULEZ :)
Вроде пока все.
Буду ковырять дальше.
