Здравствуйте!
У меня такой вопрос: можно ли запустить под VMWare Windoze
и обращаться через IE к локально поднятому под Linux Apache?

А как же? Конечно, можно. И даже по всей доступной сети лазить можно (если разрешено при настройке). Причем даже IP-адреса будут разные, т.е. не через 127.0.0.1.
