Бойтесь S3 Trio3D/2X! Гадость! На одной машине у меня так и не заработала - вешала все намертво во всех возможных режимах за исключением noaccel :-((( . Так и пришлось ставить FBDev - этот хоть не виснет, но загрузка через loadlin - все-таки откопал утилиту настройки частоты, чтобы хоть на 60 Гц не смотреть.
На другой аналогичная карточка вроде бы работает, но страдает глюками - в IceWM на кнопках в пунктирных линиях точки собираются в кучу.
