И да и нет. Структура ядра Linux вызывает некоторые
нарекания (особенно у \"китов\" Unix), но жизнь - не
всегда хорошее место для применения теории.
Микроядерные архитектуры к сожалению не показывают
должной реальной производительности без
соответствующей поддержки оборудования...
Linux - уникальная в своём роде ОС, мне не известны
иные, показывающие хорошую производительность на
спектре обороудования от мобильного телефона до
S/390...
