Не понимаю. Пожалуйста, опишите внешние проявления этого эффекта. Кто
видит раздел, и кто не видит?

С rsync все нормально, как и прежде, и ничего не изменялось. А что Вы еще
меняли в своей OS, помимо ядра, с того момента, как все было нормально?
